Dr. G & the Believers is a high-energy blues band from Southeastern Connecticut that specializes in upbeat, dance-able blues and R&B music. Known for their "non-stop Blues Dance Party" performances, the band has been entertaining audiences across New England with their selection of hip-shakin' classic and modern blues and blues-infused tunes that keep crowds jumping.

Dr. G & the Believers has performed hundreds of shows throughout New England, bringing their signature "Blues Dance Party" to venues and festivals across the region. The band prides itself on delivering a tight, soulful blues experience that combines traditional blues roots with modern energy. Band members have opened for major blues acts including Roomful of Blues, James Cotton, Fabulous Thunderbirds, and Clarence Clemmons. The accomplished musicians in the band include Guitarist Raynor Roberts, a three-time winner of the Connecticut Blues Challenge and a Finalist in the International Blues Challenge, and Sax Player Joel Caputo who's horn has graced the stage at the Newport Jazz Festival.
