The Story Behind Dr. G and the Believers
I, Bob Garofalo, aka Dr. G, am the music director of Dr. G and the Believers. I have been hooked on the blues since high school and have been playing blues harmonica and keys since then. Blues music is the foundation of rock and roll. It is full of fire and grit and built on rhythms that grab and don't let go.
I watched people at one of our corporate events at Water's Edge Resort bobbing their heads to the music, tapping their feet, and finally dancing to the irresistible, upbeat, high energy mix of soulful blues and R&B tunes that we play. That made me realize the power of my music to transform an event, and is why I'm so passionate about using my live music to make events successful and enrich peoples' lives.
